Going on Birthright was undoubtedly the most magnificent experience I have been lucky enough to experience and since then I have longed for the day when I can go back to Israel.
Though I’m not going back just yet, I’ve gotten the amazing news that I have been chosen as a representative for Birthright Israel so that I can help more people get their trip to Israel to experience all of the wonders of the amazing country and culture the way I did just 2 years ago.
Birthright Israel offers a FREE 10 day trip to Israel for Jewish young adults ages 18-26. The Hebrew name for the trip is Taglit meaning discovery. During their trip, participants, are encouraged to discover new meaning in their personal Jewish identity and connection to Jewish history and culture. So no matter how long or how little you have practiced (or chosen not to practice) this trip is an incredible opportunity.
With just a $250.00 fully refundable deposit, this trip includes airfare from major cities, hotels, most meals, all transportation within Israel, and costs associated with touring the country for the ten-day trip. Best of all, there are over a dozen different organizations which organize the trip so whether you want to attend with your university or your group of friends, fellow music lovers or other hiking enthusiasts, there is something for you out there.
This summer will sponsor the best trips yet – filled with the coolest activities like swimming in the Dead Sea and riding through the Negev Desert on camels. It is also accepting more people than ever. Registration opens February 1st, but you can pre-register at any time here.
If you’d like to read a little about my experience during birthright you can check these posts out (here) (here) and (here) and if you or someone you know would be interested in the trip you can also contact me – I’d love to help you with any questions regarding the trip, registering, or choosing the right trip organizer.
